Tiaki means to care for and protect. The Tiaki Promise is a commitment to look after New Zealand, its people and its places, now and for future generations. We see ourselves as guardians of this 1868 cottage and its stories, just as those who lived here before us were, and we invite our guests to share in that care during their stay.
